Breakups: Who Gets the Dog?

By Luisa

84 year-old, Hugh Hefner and 24 year-old Playboy Bunny Crystal Harris broke off their engagement, and they are now fighting over who will keep Charlie, their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Hugh Hefner told the famous bunny that she can keep the +$90K ring and the Bentley, but that he’s definitely keeping Charlie!  What?! Actually, that makes sense, right?

So, apparently, more and more Canadians are faced with this. Ok, let’s face it, probably most of us did not get a $90k ring and a Bentley when we parted ways....

But, what happens when couples break up?
And the big question, who should keep little Charlie? Him or her? ---- Why?!

Can't wait to see your comments!

I just got separated and I got to keep Flashi. He tried to hurt me by keeping her. Sometimes they use the pet to get back at you.

I think Hugh should keep the dog. She did enough damage to the poor man.

Two ways to look at this. The dog is most likely used to his surroundings. Leave the dog in the house where he is at. It's not the dog's fault the couple is breaking up. Other than that, a dog is not a child. Getting the dog on the week-ends or having visiting rights seems extreme. Bottom line let the dog decide.

I agree with what Jamie and Jason have said plus, at hugh's house there's bound to be way more entertainment for the dog

From my point of view, the person who spends the most time taking care of the dog should keep it.

If someone is asked that at a friends party for example, wouldn't the peer-pressure create a fear that they might loose their beloved pet to their husband(who is supposed to beloved).Deprioritizing the husband over a dog, for even a second would result in her getting what she prioritized. It doesn't matter who gets the dog, if they are divorced, the dog could get used to both of them, and if they both want one dog they should stay as one.

original post. I think the person who will take better care of the dog should have it. Please check out my blog: http://www.healthypetsblog.net/

Je pense que le chien devrait choisir. Fais un jeu et vois vers qui des deux il va.
